Yes, they can and Trash to Treasure provides the avenue to make it happen. Below is a partial list of items that you might be discarding that can enhance arts and education.

Residential / Business / Manufacturing Discards

• Baskets - all sizes, including plastic veggie and berry baskets
• Cap and lids -laundry detergent, food products, glass jar lids, etc
• Costume jewelry - including broken bits and pieces
• Foam - food trays ( no meat please) egg cartons ( paper or foam)
• Boxes - shoes, clothing, jewelry, cosmetics, etc.
• Paperboard - rolls from paper towels or TP
• Paperboard - carry-out drink holders
• Department store shopping bags
• Scrap Fabric - trim, ribbon, buttons or other notions
• Scrap wire - including phone wire and jewelry wire
• Scrap hardware & wood scrap
• String, rope, tape
• Wire hangers - tiny plastic hooks and hangers from packaging ( e.g.socks)
